About

I'm Calvin McGrath, a product-minded builder based in Utah. I currently work as a Product Intern at Hopdox, where I dig into the unglamorous but critical mechanics of e-recording and real estate document workflows — think rejection taxonomies, rule-based prevention logic, and the kind of edge cases that make or break trust in regulated infrastructure. I also serve as a Product Manager for BYU Library IT, where I gather requirements across campus stakeholders, drive accessibility remediation, and run user research to improve how students find and access information. I'm drawn to problems where precision actually matters.

My path here hasn't been linear — I've run a small business, mentored 240+ missionaries at the MTC, and spent a lot of late nights teaching myself to code and will continue to do so. I'm a B.S. in Entrepreneurial Management student at BYU graduating in April 2026, and a member of the BYU Entrepreneurs Association and Product Management Association. Outside of work you'll find me spending time with my wife, on a basketball court, golf course, or in a spikeball circle.
